Job summary

1933 Lounge by St. Elmo is seeking a Lead Host to delight guests and be the face of the restaurant, guiding seating and reservations from arrival to departure.

You will greet guests, coordinate seating, manage wait times, answer phones, and operate the reservation system. OpenTable preferred; 18+; weekend/closing shifts helpful.

Qualifications

• Experience with reservation systems.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage reservations, and coordinate seating to ensure a smooth dining room flow.
• Communicate effectively with servers and management to balance table assignments and maintain accurate wait times.
• Provide guests with menus, answer basic questions about the restaurant, and ensure guests feel welcomed from arrival.
• Maintain the host stand, reservation system, and waiting area while delivering polished first and last impressions.
