Job summary

1933 Lounge by St. Elmo is seeking a Lead Host to delight guests and be the face of the restaurant, guiding seating and reservations from arrival to departure.

You will greet guests, coordinate seating, manage wait times, answer phones, and operate the reservation system. OpenTable preferred; 18+; weekend/closing shifts helpful.

Description

The role of a Lead Host is to delight our guests, be the face of the company, and ensure a smooth dining experience from the time someone walks into the restaurant to the time they leave. A typical shift includes greeting guests, escorting them to their tables, managing wait-time, answering phones, and taking reservations. Operate and troubleshoot reservation software.

What you will do:

Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage reservations, and coordinate seating to ensure a smooth and organized dining room flow.

Communicate effectively with servers and management to balance table assignments and maintain accurate wait times.

Provide guests with menus, answer basic questions about the restaurant, and ensure guests feel welcomed and attended to from the moment they arrive.

Maintain the host stand, reservation system, and waiting area while delivering professional, polished first and last impressions for all guests.

What you will bring:
