Job summary

HM Alpha Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Housekeeping Houseperson at Hyatt Westlake in Westlake Village, CA. The role performs a range of cleaning duties to maintain hotel premises and contribute to a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities include cleaning rooms and common areas, restocking supplies, reporting maintenance needs, and assisting Room Attendants as required. A high school diploma is preferred, with health, disability and retirement benefits available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Able to lift and move heavy items.
• Attention to cleanliness and detail.
• Good guest service attitude.

Responsibilities

• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairs and other areas.
• Move furniture and dust/polish surfaces and equipment.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, wax floors with standard equipment.
• Vacuum carpets and draperies.
• Replenish supplies and linens as needed.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate team.
• Assist Room Attendant as needed.
• Greet guests warmly and helpfully.
• Other duties as assigned.
