Job summary

The Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa is seeking a Housekeeping Houseperson to maintain clean, orderly hotel premises and contribute to a positive guest experience. You will clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, and public areas, move furniture, and assist with replenishing supplies and waste removal.

Success requires following safety guidelines, delivering friendly service, and performing routine cleaning tasks efficiently. This is a full-time on-site role at The Westin La Paloma in Tucson, AZ.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning
• Ability to follow safety and cleaning procedures
• Excellent guest service mindset and friendly demeanor
• Ability to handle repetitive tasks and physical workload

Responsibilities

• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and other work spaces.
• Moves and arranges furniture and dusts/polishes surfaces as needed.
• Cleans floors, rugs, carpets, upholstery, and draperies using appropriate methods.
• Replenishes supplies, linens, towels, and maintains cleaning carts.
• Transports trash and waste to disposal areas and reports maintenance needs.
• Greets guests warmly and assists with requests as needed.

Education

High school diploma preferred
