Job summary

Home2 Suites Baltimore-White Marsh is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to perform routine cleaning and servicing of assigned areas, ensuring guest comfort and cleanliness. You will stock supplies, assist the Housekeeper, and help maintain safety and hygiene standards across public spaces and guest rooms.

This on-site role requires physical stamina and teamwork, with duties including bed making, trash removal, and reporting issues to management. A high school education is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand and communicate chemical labels, and Safety Data Sheets, Instructions.
• Ability to gain knowledge of applicable franchise standards and procedures.
• Ability to complete applicable housekeeping forms and to communicate any problems and/or unusual conditions to management.
• Ability to read and comprehend manuals.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine duties in cleaning and servicing areas assigned; supplies area with items needed for guest comfort.
• Cleans lobby, hallways, restrooms, and public areas as scheduled.
• Delivers room service trays and escorts items as required by Housekeeper.
• Inspects exterior and interior areas for cleanliness and safety issues and reports as needed.
• Assists in making beds and cleaning rooms under supervision.
• Turns in all lost and found items according to procedure.
• Operates a light vacuum cleaner and assists with deep cleaning as directed.
• Maintains storage areas and linen rooms, and restocks carts.
