Commonwealth Lodging Management seeks a Hotel Houseperson to maintain guest relations and support housekeeping operations across the property. You will ensure guest confidentiality, respond to inquiries, and assist with daily tasks and amenities provisioning.

The role requires knowledge of safety procedures, proper chemical use per OSHA guidelines, and ability to move supplies and assist in emergencies. A proactive team player is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain positive guest relations and guest confidentiality.
• Work to resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction and communicating effectively with guests and team members.
• Maintain knowledge of all hotel features/services, hours of operation, room rates, special packages and promotions, daily house count and expected arrivals/departures and scheduled daily group activities.
• Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment; use equipment only as intended.
• Use all chemicals in accordance with OSHA regulations and hotel requirements.
• Complete daily report as instructed by supervisor.
• Stock linen room with supplies; empty linen from housekeeping carts.
• Sweep and mop areas in front of elevators; clean trash cans, and clean elevator track.
• Maintain pool areas and clean pool windows and bathroom daily.
• Clean ice and soda machines on all floors; dust light fixtures in hallways.
• Clean rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture using vacuum, broom, and carpet shampoo machine.
• Wash walls and ceilings, move furniture and turn mattresses.
• Remove dirty linen from laundry chutes and hallways; pick up trash from all floors after room attendants finish for the day.
• Deliver towels, cribs, cots and other items to guest rooms upon request.
• Notify supervisor of any guests’ complaints or comments.
• Assist coworkers and guests as needed.
• Be familiar with local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
• Assist in handling emergencies to protect guests and associates and preserve building systems.
