Job summary

Loews Hotels & Co in Arlington is hiring a Hotel Housekeeper to clean public guest room areas and support the Housekeeping Department. You will promote good guest relations while maintaining high cleanliness standards.

The role requires standing, walking, lifting up to 150 pounds, and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Training, safety compliance, and teamwork are emphasized to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Basic English language skills.
• Must be customer-service oriented and have excellent hospitality skills.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Able to push, stand, stoop, bend, and lift items weighing up to 150 pounds repetitively during entire shift.

Responsibilities

• To clean all public guest room areas of the hotel as assigned.
• Promote good public relations.
• Reports to work as scheduled, in proper uniform, in accordance with the company's personal appearance standards.
• Consistently maintains a friendly positive attitude that ensures positive guest experience and giving recognition to returning guests.
• Follow and adhere to all policies and procedures as set forth by the Housekeeping Department.
• Follows proper etiquette when communicating over the radio.
• Respond, follow and close HotSOS and other requests when assigned to them by the proper usage of Rexx/ radio.
• Responsible for helping room attendants by emptying trash and soiled linen from housekeeping carts.
• Maintain cleanliness in public areas, lobby levels, restrooms, elevators, and hallways.
• Handle guests with excellent guest relations skills.
• Maintain linen closets clean, stock and organize.
• Bring trash to compactor at the end of the day.
• Responsible for washing guest room glassware and delivering to linen closets.
• Perform all other duties as directed by management that are consistent with policies and procedures.
