Job summary

SA Hospitality Group is seeking a guest-facing host in Aspen, Colorado. The role involves welcoming, greeting, and seating guests and ensuring their needs are met while they wait. You will collaborate with staff to deliver high-quality service and handle reservations and phone inquiries.

Ideal candidates communicate clearly in English, work well under pressure, and can lift up to 25 lbs. Basic food handling and cleaning skills are welcomed; ADA accommodations are available.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and courteously; seat guests as directed by management.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication with staff and managers.
• Answer phones and provide information; arrange bookings.
• Routinely clear and reset tables; assist with opening tasks.
• May handle guest complaints and special requests.
• Coat check duties: receive and organize items; issue as per ticket.
• Support other duties as assigned by management.
• Follow opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain professional demeanor with staff at all times.
• Assist with service steps to ensure guest satisfaction, including food delivery.
• Be accessible to staff and guests to answer questions about reservations.
• Communicate service steps per training manuals to all serving staff.
