Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas, at Nine Fine Irishmen inside New York, New York, seeks a personable Hostperson to greet guests, manage the host stand, and support the service team.

This position requires 21+ years of age, weekend/holiday shifts, OpenTable experience, and 2+ years of dining host work; you will assist with reservations, seating, and maintaining a welcoming, organized dining area.

Qualifications

• At least 21+ years of age.
• Weekends and holidays required.
• 2+ years of prior dining host experience is preferred.
• Experience with OpenTable system.
• Experience in a resort setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly as they enter the restaurant.
• Answer phones and manage reservations; maintain reservation book.
• Coordinate seating and communicate guest needs to the kitchen and management.
• Ensure menus are current and replace outdated inserts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining areas.
• Support servers, bussers, and runners as needed to ensure smooth service.
