Job summary

Miasitalian is seeking a friendly and energetic Host/Hostess to warmly greet guests and guide them to their tables. You will create a welcoming atmosphere and help guests feel comfortable while they wait for seating.

The ideal candidate is motivated, enthusiastic, and highly personable, capable of promoting a memorable dining experience for guests and contributing to a positive first impression of the restaurant.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED are preferred, but not required.
• Previous experience as a host is preferred, but not required.
• Must speak English fluently and be able to write in basic English.
• Must be able to work well under pressure and be self-motivated.
• Must have good organizational, time management and sales skills.
• Good communication skills—both written and verbal.
• Must be dependable, reliable and be driven with minimal supervision.
• Must possess a high level of awareness, attention to detail and follow-through.
• Must be both effective and efficient at multi-tasking in pressure situations.
