Job summary

TGI Fridays - 64303 is seeking a friendly Host/ess to greet guests with a warm smile, seat them according to preferences, and ensure a memorable first impression as they arrive and depart. You will manage the dining room flow, share current promotions, answer phone calls promptly, and support the service team to deliver Fridays Service Style throughout the guest experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to carry natural conversations with Guests without sounding scripted.
• Must be able to read menus and explain options clearly.
• Must articulate clear greetings and farewells to Guests and understand requests.
• Must be able to clearly communicate Guests’ needs to team members.
• Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
• Must be able to carry trays or supplies (10–30 lbs.).

Responsibilities

• Greet incoming and departing Guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact.
• Use visual cues to seat Guests in either the bar or dining area according to their preference.
• Inform Guests of current promotions and who will be serving them for a smooth handoff.
• Promptly answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service.
• Manage the flow of Guests into Dining and Bar areas and share accurate wait times when appropriate.
• Tend to special Guest needs and requests while maintaining Fridays Service Style.
• Be observant to Guests’ needs to ensure high-quality service throughout the dining experience.
• Contribute to a positive and efficient shift by communicating with Team Members.
• Support the service staff to ensure timely seating and guest satisfaction during peak times.
