• Balance dining room to support kitchen flow and servers.
• Answer phones, confirm reservations, handle special requests (allergies, celebrations, large parties).
• Maintain a clean host stand and entryway.
• Communicate with servers, managers, kitchen about status and VIPs.
• Handle guest concerns with grace and problem-solving instincts.
• Assist with light bussing, menu updates, or table resets during peak periods.
