Job summary

The City of Arvada seeks a Guest Host to greet guests, seat them in bar or dining areas, and provide friendly, efficient service. You will inform guests of wait times, manage seating, and assist with to-go orders while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

Availability must include nights and weekends. In this role you will carry out basic hospitality duties, refill beverages, answer phones, and collaborate with dining room staff to ensure a smooth guest experience and high-quality service

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Prior customer service experience is helpful.
• Ability to read menus and communicate clearly with guests.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests warmly and escorts them to dining areas.
• Informs guests of wait times and manages the guest list.
• Tends to guest needs, refills beverages and assists with to-go orders.
• Answers phone calls and supports dining room staff as needed.
• Adheres to sanitation, safety and alcohol policies.
