Job summary

Jupiter-Beach-Resort- is seeking a friendly Host/Hostess to welcome guests, manage reservations, and coordinate seating in a high-volume resort dining environment. You will engage with guests to create a positive first impression and help ensure smooth dining room operations.

The role emphasizes courteous communication, accurate message taking, and teamwork with wait staff. Prior hospitality experience is a plus, and a neat appearance per company policy is required.

Qualifications

• Courteous phone skills and ability to take accurate messages required or preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED is a plus but not required.
• Previous experience in hospitality or host/hostess roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and inviting manner.
• Take reservations using the restaurant reservation system.
• Engage in friendly conversation as guests are seated.
• Manage restaurant waiting list during high volume and provide accurate wait times.
• Oversee inventory of available tables.
• Thank guests and invite them to return after their visit.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.
• Communicate with wait staff and supervisors about table availability.
• Report complaints or compliments to supervisor as needed.
• Follow company rules as defined in the employee handbook.
• Wear the uniform provided by the company policy.
