Responsibilities

• Greet guests and seat them at tables or in waiting areas.
• Assign guests to tables and manage seating rotation to balance server workload.
• Provide menus and answer telephone inquiries or transfer calls.
• Input takeout orders accurately into POS system.
• Speak with guests to ensure satisfaction and address concerns.
• Maintain contact with kitchen staff, management, serving staff, and customers to ensure proper dining details.
• Receive and record guest dining reservations.
• Inspect dining and serving areas for cleanliness and setup.
• Inform guests of specialties and features.
• Assist other restaurant workers by serving or bussing as needed.
