Hyatt Place Flushing seeks a Guest Service Agent (Host) to create a welcoming guest experience, managing check-in/check-out and assisting with luggage and directions. You will balance cash and post charges, ensuring efficient service and smooth arrivals.

Strong English communication, the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting, and a customer-first attitude are essential. Hospitality or cash-handling experience plus a high school diploma are preferred, with ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifikationen

• Customer service and cash handling experience required.
• Must have schedule flexibility for AM/PM/Overnight shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency in English include speaking, reading and writing; Chinese a plus.
• Must be able to multi-task.
• Must be 18 years or older to serve and pour alcohol in New York.
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced guest-facing role.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel).
• Driver's license and reliable transportation with a clean driving record is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Greet guests and assist with check-in and check-out processes, verifying registration, address and credit information, and posting charges; assist with luggage, directions, wake-up calls and future reservations.
• Courteously provide information to guest inquiries; coordinate requests for services and inform guests of hotel features and amenities.
• Answer hotel telephones courteously and efficiently according to Hyatt Place standards.
• Prepare and serve beverages and food, maintain POS operation, and ensure a clean dining and guest area.
• Assist guests with food orders and service; maintain a clean, organized environment.
• Follow Hyatt Place policies for cash handling, safety, security, and service standards.
