Hyatt Place Flushing/ LaGuardia Airport is hiring a Breakfast Attendant/Host to greet guests, support the breakfast area, and help ensure a smooth operation. You will assist on the floor when needed to maintain an exceptional guest experience and collaborate with the team to meet Hyatt standards.

The role requires strong English readability, a positive, guest-first attitude, and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Weekends and early shifts are common, with on-site work at the hotel.

Qualifications

• Prior food & beverage experience.
• Can do attitude with guest-focused service.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, weekends and holidays.
• Must read and understand English; Chinese is a plus.
• Ability to lift, push, or carry items weighing 50 pounds or more.
• ServSafe and ABC certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage guests.
• Assist lobby guests by bussing tables and delivering meals; maintain breakfast area.
• Prepare simple dishes and items per Hyatt standards.
• Regularly inventory food and supplies; place orders as needed.
• Maintain a can-do attitude and guest-first mindset at all times.
• Collaborate with the hotel team to exceed guest expectations.
• Resolve guest complaints promptly and fulfill service requests.
