Job summary

Newport Aquarium in Newport, KY is seeking a part-time Greeter & Ticket Scanning Host to welcome guests, guide them to entry points, and assist with timed entry tickets. This on-site role requires a friendly, reliable attitude and the ability to lift light loads while representing Newport Aquarium’s safety standards.

You will learn guest service policies, engage with guests about attractions and events, and work collaboratively with other teams to ensure an excellent guest experience.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of pre-employment background check.
• Physical strength to lift/push/pull/move up to 25 pounds.
• Outdoor duties dependent on weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per Newport Aquarium Guest Service Standards,Policies and Safety Protocols.
• Maintain a positive attitude and appearance.
• Approach guests to offer assistance and information.
• Adhere to uniform and appearance standards and be on time for shifts.
• Ensure safe entry for visitors with timed entry tickets.
• Guide guests to the ticketing window when needed.
• Collaborate with team members across departments to ensure smooth operations.
