Job summary

Oregano's is seeking a friendly Front-of-House Host to greet guests, seat customers, and help maintain a welcoming dining room. You’ll coordinate with the team to ensure smooth seating flow and provide excellent service from arrival to departure.

You will support the host station, answer guest questions, and share menu details while keeping the area clean and organized. Growth opportunities exist in a diverse, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent customer service orientation.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Valid food safety and alcohol serving certifications (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Greets and seats guests, providing accurate wait times and seating parties.
• Manages seating using the table management system to optimize flow.
• Provides guest assistance by answering inquiries and sharing menu information.
• Maintains the host station and keeps it organized and clean.
• Supports the front-of-house team to ensure smooth operations.
• Reports issues promptly, including maintenance problems and safety hazards.
