Job summary

Bally's in Dover, DE, seeks a frontline hospitality team member to greet guests, manage seating, and provide accurate wait times during busy periods. You will learn the menu, coordinate with waitstaff, and support opening/closing duties to ensure smooth service.

Excellent English communication and the ability to work weekends, holidays, and nights are required. ABC and DE service licenses must be obtained, with a positive attitude and professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Must possess good English communication skills.
• Must be ABC certified before starting work.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays and nights as needed.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing excellence in service.
• Greet customers as soon as they walk up
• Provide patrons with accurate wait time estimates during busy periods
• Maintain a neat, organized front-of-house environment
• Seat guests and take initial drink orders as needed to ensure ideal speed of service
• Assist with opening/closing tasks and side work as needed
• Learn food and beverage menu
• Rotate seating between different stations to ensure even workloads for waitstaff.
• Answer phones and schedule reservations with large parties.
• Relays any guest compliments and complaints to the appropriate supervisor.
• Collects proper payment for paid show.
• Checks reservations and seats guests in a courteous and friendly manner
• Reports to work on time, as scheduled, in proper uniform with nametag, and with a positive and cooperative attitude ready to serve the guests.
• Cash: makes proper change and closes out the check. Held accountable for cash drawer and all variances.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Diverse, fast-paced, deadline driven, multi-project coordination, prioritizing and flexing to accommodate last minute requests and changes.
