Job summary

Sahm S Employment Services Llc is seeking a friendly Host to greet guests and set a welcoming tone as they arrive in Carmel, Indiana. You will guide guests to tables, manage reservations by phone, and quote accurate wait times to ensure smooth service.

As a team member, you will help keep the lobby clean and presentable, assist servers during peak times, and complete side tasks at shift end. Prior hospitality experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to stand at least 4 hours per shift.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Be a team player and work well with management and servers.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as soon as they walk in, creating a welcoming first impression.
• Guide guests to their tables and manage seating flow.
• Take reservations and answer the phone in a courteous manner.
• Quote proper wait times to guests and keep them informed.
• Ensure the lobby and dining area remain clean and presentable.
• Complete any side work before the end of your shift.
• Assist managers and servers with additional duties as needed.
