Job summary

Ryman Hospitality Properties is seeking a Host to warmly welcome guests at our restaurant and live entertainment venue, greet guests, manage reservations and waitlists, and escort them to seats while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

The ideal candidate will share a passion for music heritage and create engaging guest experiences, with strong interpersonal skills and availability during peak times, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in restaurant operations preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work during peak times, including evenings, weekends and holidays, to support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests promptly with a smile and sincere welcome.
• Assist with venue directions as needed and manage reservations/waitlists.
• Escort guests to tables, explain menus, and ensure guests settle before leaving the table.
• Maintain waitlist to maximize service efficiency and communicate wait times to management.
• Provide confident and friendly guidance on upcoming events.
