You will manage reservations, control waitlists, guide guests to tables, and provide menus while coordinating with servers and kitchen staff to maintain smooth seating and timely service. The role requires clear communication, a professional appearance, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating to ensure smooth flow.
• Escort guests to tables and provide menus as needed.
• Communicate wait times accurately and provide updates to guests.
• Coordinate with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff for seating and timing.
• Answer phone calls and assist with reservations or inquiries.
• Utilize online reservation tools to accept and modify reservations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, waiting area, and entryway.
• Monitor dining room activity and assist in guest satisfaction.
• Assist with special guest requests, celebrations, and accommodations.
• Support staff during busy times with light tasks and resetting tables.
• Report maintenance issues or damaged equipment.
