Bob Evans Restaurants is hiring a Host/Cashier in the United States. The role offers a wage up to $15.00 per hour, depending on experience, with early close shifts and no late nights. Great work-life balance and opportunities for development are highlighted throughout the posting.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, seating guests, maintaining lobby and dining areas, handling cash and cards, and supporting marketing efforts. Prior experience in guest service is valued.

Qualifications

• Excellent guest service skills and experience.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise.
• Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task.
• Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills.
• Must have ability to accurately handle money, make change, process credit card transactions and have strong menu knowledge.
• Computer skills (POS system).

Responsabilités

• Greet guest in a friendly, warm, and welcoming manner and escort guests to tables.
• Monitors guests’ needs and the flow of the restaurant and seats guests accordingly.
• Delivers the appropriate number of menus, kid packs when seating guests.
• Performs restroom checks, answers phone, keeps lobby, bakery and retail areas clean and stocked.
• Practices safe food and beverage handling.
• Interacts with guests and handles crowds while they wait for table or carryout.
• Handles cash and credit transactions and accounts for receivables.
• Assist in marketing, promotions and communicating new offerings to guests.
• Clears, sanitizes, and sets tables as needed.
• Must perform duties dependably and work well in a team.
