Job summary

Tap Room at Upstream Hospitality Group is seeking a friendly host/server to welcome guests and support a smooth dining experience. You will greet guests, seat them, inform them of specials, and coordinate with servers to ensure timely service.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for guest experiences.
• Strong communication, ability to convey information clearly to guests and team.
• Ability to greet guests, answer questions, and provide clear information.
• Excellent teamwork and willingness to help keep operations running smoothly.
• Comfortable standing/walking for extended periods; able to lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly, upbeat attitude.
• Seat guests and manage table rotation.
• Provide menus and inform guests of specials or promotions.
• Communicate server assignments to guests.
• Manage flow of guests in dining and bar areas; provide wait times.
• Answer the phone and direct calls appropriately.
• Handle all to-go orders and delivery orders promptly.
• Keep the host stand and entrance welcoming and organized.
• Be a team player and assist wherever needed.
