Job summary

Capital Ale House is seeking a front-line teammate for our Glen Allen locations. You will answer calls, assist guests with directions, hours, and to-go orders, and maintain a clean, sanitary service area while staying positive in a loud, fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include guest questions, assisting with service operations, and supporting a safe, collaborative team environment. Sundays are required, and roles offer advancement and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be available on Sundays on a rotating basis.
• Able to lift items up to 30 lbs. for distances up to 25 feet.
• Able to stand and be active for up to an 8-hour shift, including stairs.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone to provide directions, hours, and to-go orders.
• Answer questions guests have regarding products or services.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and countertops.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor in a loud, high-volume environment.
• Reflects positively on the company and its staff.
• Communicate with guests and Managers about operational issues.
• Ensure timeliness of deadlines and adherence to standards in training.
• Identify areas of need in beverage service and dining areas and address problems.
• Convey the company's marketing efforts to guests.
• Contribute to overall morale of the operation's staff.
• Assist in staff training of trainees in the service area.
• Ensure safety and security of staff and guests by following company procedures and policies.
