Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants in Philadelphia hires a Host/Hostess to warmly welcome guests, coordinate reservations, and seat guests with expert knowledge of the dining room and local area. You’ll be a culture ambassador, delivering personal service and building relationships that encourage guests to return.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Learn menu, allergy information, and how to use POS and reservation systems.

Responsabilités

• Greet restaurant guests, be knowledgeable about the area and provide information when asked.
• Provide fair and consistent seating of guests.
• Accurately handle paperwork, stock and tidy the host stand.
• Receive calls and book reservations for guests.
• Taking room service orders if applicable.
• Check floor and tables for accuracy and cleanliness, assist in bussing tables.
• Help servers by refilling beverages.
• Perform other restaurant and customer service related requests for guests.
