Job summary

Lone Star Apple, LLC. is seeking a dedicated Applebee’s Host to provide a warm welcome to guests at the door and assist with the overall guest flow in the restaurant. Responsibilities include greeting and seating guests, managing wait lists, and maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant.

The ideal candidate will possess strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to carry objects up to 15 pounds. This role offers competitive pay, flexible hours, and benefits including health insurance, 401(k), and meal discounts.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and verbal communication skills required.
• Mobility required during the entire shift.
• Transports and carries objects (such as high chair) up to 15 pounds up to 15 times per shift.
• Ability to wipe down table tops, table legs, pick up debris off the floor, and wipe down booth seats.

Responsibilities

• Greets and seats all guests in a friendly manner.
• Opens the door for guests arriving and departing.
• Accommodates any special needs to guests.
• Manages the wait list when the restaurant is full.
• Provides guest assistance to servers as needed.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
