Job summary

Lone Star Apple, LLC. is looking for a cheerful Applebee’s Host in Puerto Rico to ensure a warm welcome for every guest. This position involves greeting and seating guests while managing the restaurant's guest flow efficiently.

The successful candidate will assist guests, manage waiting lists, and maintain a clean environment. Competitive pay, flexible hours, and various benefits including health insurance and advancement opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and verbal communication skills required.
• Mobility required during the entire shift.
• Transports and carries objects (such as high chair) up to 15 pounds up to 15 times per shift.
• Ability to wipe down table tops, table legs, pick up debris off the floor, and wipe down booth seats in all areas of the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Greets and seats all guests in a friendly manner and assists the overall guest flow of the restaurant.
• Opens the door for guests arriving and departing.
• Accommodates any special needs to guests, i.e. boosters, high chairs, disabilities.
• Manages the wait list when the restaurant is full.
• Provides guest assistance to servers as needed.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area and completes cleaning as assigned.
• Fills out the feature board and inflates balloons.
