Bourbon & Bones - Old Town in Scottsdale is seeking a friendly Host to greet guests, manage the waiting list, and seat patrons. You will support servers and keep the entrance area inviting while learning the restaurant's POS systems.

Flexibility is required for evenings, weekends, and holidays. The role emphasizes outstanding customer service, teamwork, and knowledge of the menu and allergens to assist guests accurately.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in hospitality.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Attention to detail when seating guests and handling information.
• Knowledge of food and beverage menus and allergens a plus.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Handlers Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests.
• Manage waiting list and seating to maximize capacity.
• Maintain a clean, inviting entrance area.
• Accurately estimate and communicate wait times.
• Coordinate reservations and record relevant information.
• Escort guests to tables and present menus.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff for smooth turnover.
• Ensure tables are cleaned and prepared for next guests.
• Address guest inquiries and escalate issues when needed.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu and specials.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Assist with cashiering and payments.
