Job summary

American Social in Orlando is seeking a friendly Host/Hostess to greet guests, seat guests, manage the waiting list, and coordinate with servers to ensure smooth dining flow. You will handle special requests, maintain cleanliness, and assist team members during busy shifts.

The ideal candidate is at least 18, fluent in English, available for late-night shifts, and has food-handling or alcohol-awareness certification as a plus. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Available for late-night shifts (up to around 3 AM).
• Fluent in English; able to read, write and speak clearly.
• Ability to transport items up to 30 pounds.
• Weekend and holiday availability.
• Alcohol awareness certification a plus.
• Food handling certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive and manage seating.
• Maintain waiting list and notify guests of seating.
• Coordinate with servers and managers on table availability.
• Keep host area stocked and clean.
• Answer phones and provide directions and hours.
• Roll and stock silverware, reset tables as needed.
