Job summary

Out West Restaurant Group in Poway, California is seeking a Host/Hostess to create memorable first and last impressions for our guests. This role includes greeting and seating guests, providing excellent service, and ensuring a welcoming dining environment.

The ideal candidate should have the ability to stand for long periods and must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. We offer hourly pay at $16.90 plus tips and comprehensive health insurance benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of up to 8 hours.
• Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting, and stooping.
• Responsible Beverage Service Certifications required for California.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a welcoming manner.
• Coordinate wait and manage guest seating efficiently.
• Assist servers by delivering food and clearing tables.

Skills

Ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lbs

Ability to work in hot and cold environments

Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment

Manual dexterity to handle glassware and technology systems

Visual ability to include distance, close, color, depth
