Job summary

Gold Ranch Casino in Verdi, NV is hiring for a server/busser role. Responsibilities include seating guests, taking orders, handling cash/credit transactions, and delivering beverages to guests to ensure prompt, friendly service.

Requirements include 6 months of cashier and bussing experience, strong English communication, and basic math. Knowledge of POS systems is preferred; the position offers growth opportunities in a fast-paced environment near Reno.

Qualifications

• 6 months previous cashier experience, preferably in a restaurant setting.
• 6 months previous bussing experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written English language.
• High School level math: Adding, subtracting.
• Must have a basic knowledge of beverage brands, drink preparations and applicable health standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Seat guests in a friendly and timely manner.
• Take to go orders.
• Handle all cash/credit card transactions.
• Thank all guests as they are leaving.
• Ask guests for their beverage orders and deliver those to them in a timely manner.
• Clear empty dishes from the tables as needed.
• Refill guests beverages as needed.
• Clear and wipe down tables when guests leave.
• Occasionally may be asked to assist servers with food delivery.
