Responsibilities

• Receive payments and present change to customers.
• Function as the host/hostess of the restaurant.
• Receive food checks from waiters or customers.
• Manage the register, including all credit card and cash operations.
• Ensure a balance of the register at the end of the shift or working period.
• Keep menus clean and ready to present to customers.
• Great customer service with a smile.
• Count cash tips and record transactions as needed.
• Close the drawer and reconcile end-of-shift totals.
• Wipe down POS, cash machines, and printers; restock supplies.
