Job summary

Caesars Entertainment is seeking a friendly host/hostess to coordinate dining room activities and provide fast, courteous service to patrons. You will welcome guests, verify reservations, seat guests, and work with servers to ensure smooth seating flow and high guest satisfaction.

The role requires 21+ years of age, physical stamina, and English proficiency. It’s a fast-paced environment in our casino dining areas with emphasis on teamwork and guest care.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Able to lift up to 10 pounds.
• Able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items at desk area.
• Able to operate office equipment including 10-key adding machine, PC, fax and photocopier.
• Capable of working at a fast pace and under stress.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the initial reception of guests upon arrival and verify reservations when required.
• Escort guests to tables and provide food and wine menus.
• Seat stations in order to ensure fairness and maximum service.
• Coordinate with servers and bussers to ensure table availability.
• Inspect podiums for cleanliness, organization, and supply par levels.
• Wipe down menus and replace inserts at end of shift.
• Promote teamwork with restaurant staff.
• Collaborate closely with Casino and Slot hosts to ensure excellent guest service.
