Job summary

Ruth’s Chris Steak House is seeking a Host/Hostess to coordinate reservations, greet guests, seat parties, and manage the front-of-house flow to deliver a superior dining experience. The role requires friendly, professional customer service and the ability to handle busy periods with composure.

You will work with managers and servers to ensure accurate seating, timely seating turns, and adherence to safety standards within a high-volume restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Reports to work as indicated on the work schedule and in the correct uniform.
• Greet Guests, manage reservations, and direct guests to waiting areas.
• Escort Guests to tables and communicate seating plans to servers.
• Quote waiting times accurately and maintain the wait list.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hostess/host stand and lobby.
• Complete closing duties and follow safety guidelines.
