Job summary

Ruth's Chris Steak House is seeking a courteous Host/Hostess to coordinate reservations, greet arrivals, seat guests, and acknowledge departures, ensuring a superior guest experience for all diners.

You will obtain staffing and station assignments, manage seating rotations, quote accurate wait times, maintain the hostess stand and lobby, and assist the Manager-on-Duty to keep service smooth and safe.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to diplomatically handle difficult situations with professionalism.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate reservations and seating to optimize flow of guests.
• Greet arrivals, confirm names, and direct guests to waiting areas or tables.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and lobby.
• Quote accurate wait times and update guests as needed.
• Communicate guest concerns to the Manager-on-Duty and assist as required.
