Job summary

Deluca's in Hot Springs, AR is seeking a friendly host to welcome guests and set the tone for their dining experience. You will greet guests, manage waitlists, and assist with seating and to-go orders using the POS system.

You will help bus and reset tables and maintain a clean host area, contributing to a smooth, enjoyable dining atmosphere. Ideal candidates thrive in fast-paced settings, enjoy customer interaction, and are available weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome each guest with a great attitude and positive body language.
Answer phones with friendliness and care.
General knowledge of restaurant: hours of operation, menu, seating options.
Understand the dough reservations system and waitlists.
Know seating parameters and what you can and cannot accommodate.
Find a way to say yes!
Good working knowledge of menu, and general allergen information.
Know how to work POS system and take to-go orders, including cash and card transactions.
Help bus and reset tables as assigned.
Maintain host area cleanliness and organization, including the front entryway doors and windows.
Perform opening and closing procedures.
Other duties as assigned
