Job summary

Evermore Orlando Resort is seeking an experienced Guest Experience Host to elevate the Orlando vacation experience. You will coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, and F&B to welcome guests with discretion and personalized attention.

Role requires 5+ years in guest-facing roles in luxury settings, excellent communication, and the ability to manage VIP or high-profile guests while maintaining brand standards.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 5 years of experience in a guest-facing role, preferably in a luxury hotel/resort setting.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience delivering high-touch, personalized guest service in luxury environments.
• Demonstrated ability to provide anticipatory service with discretion.
• Professional command of luxury service language, tone, and presentation.

• Receive Pre- Arrival Dossiers from the Pre-Arrival team and learn about arriving guests.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure readiness for each guest’s arrival.
• On arrival, introduce themselves confidently and establish presence.
• Provide a small, thoughtful welcome amenity for each guest.
• Offer a call or text within 15 minutes of guests entering their accommodation.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive Pre-Arrival Dossiers from the Pre-Arrival team and learn about all arriving guests, ahead of their stay.
• Collaborate and align with internal teams to ensure readiness for each guest’s arrival.
• On arrival, the Evermore Guest Experience Host will introduce themselves simply and confidently, establishing presence without explanation or instruction.
• Based on guest preferences, will ensure a small, thoughtful welcome amenity is provided upon each guest's arrival.
• Using PIN activation notification, Evermore Guest Experience Host will offer a call or text within 15 minutes of guests entering their accommodation. This interaction is to establish trust, ease and emotional tone quickly.
• When appropriate, Evermore Guest Experience Host should create one mid-stay “micro-moment” and one intentional closing moment on the final night. The gestures will align with how each guest used Evermore and will never be performative or branded.
• Schedule daily time to roam the Landing and Evermore Bay Promenade to be available to in-house guests.
• Listen and understand guests to elevate meaningful feedback and resolve friction.
• Continuously read guest cues and adjust service levels behind the scenes, honoring privacy while remaining highly responsive.
• Document notable preferences and feedback accurately to support future stays and continuity of service.

Education, Skills, And Experience

• Must have at least 5 years of experience in a guest-facing role; preferably in a luxury hotel/resort setting
• Must possess and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Prior experience working in a luxury or ultra-luxury hotel, resort, or private club environment, delivering high-touch, personalized guest service
• Demonstrated ability to provide anticipatory service, comparable to a butler or personal concierge role, with strong attention to detail and discretion
• Professional command of luxury service language, tone, and presentation when interacting with guests, leadership, and partners
• Strong knowledge of resort amenities, experiences, dining outlets, recreational offerings, and local attractions, with the ability to curate personalized recommendations
• Experience managing guest preferences, profiles, and itineraries, ensuring seamless coordination across departments
• Proven ability to handle VIP, repeat, and high-profile guests with confidentiality, poise, and emotional intelligence
• Comfortable serving as a single point of contact for guests throughout their stay, owning requests from pre-arrival through departure
• Ability to resolve guest concerns proactively and gracefully, exceeding expectations while maintaining brand standards
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Recreation, Spa, and Transportation teams to deliver a unified guest journey
• Proficient in Google business workspace and/or Microsoft Office Suite.
• Initiative-taker that can work independently with minimal supervision.
• Capable of working scheduled hours, including weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Proficient in reading safety procedures and operating guidelines/instructions in English.

Physical Requirements

• Able to safely lift, pull and push up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work outside, walking, interacting with guests, for up to an entire 8-hour shift.
• Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to drive all Guest Experience vehicles
• Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and reach for at least 8 hours per day
