Job summary

Compass Group USA’s Levy division seeks a dining room host/hostess to seat residents, assist guests, and uphold a high standard of service. This role emphasizes strong communication, confidentiality, and teamwork to ensure a safe, enjoyable dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct guests to tables promptly and warmly.
• Help create an enjoyable dining experience with a safe, clean environment.
• Demonstrate excellent communication; be flexible and patient with guests and staff.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information shared.
• Supervise dining room associates to ensure proper service, food handling and sanitation.
• Train new food-service team members.
• Oversee closing of dining room and complete side work and setup.
• Follow emergency safety procedures and assist with guest evacuation if needed.
• Assist with service tasks as needed and support other departments during events.
