Job summary

Mystic is seeking an Expo / Support Person to ensure a smooth guest experience from arrival to departure. You will help transport food from the kitchen, bus tables when needed, and support host staff, with opportunities to learn multiple support roles and assist with inventory.

Qualifications

• Understanding of restaurant etiquette and service functions.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
• Demonstrable customer service and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both over the phone and in person.
• Strong organizational skills to monitor the dining and bar areas.
• Responsible, enthusiastic, reliable, and professional demeanor.
• Willingness to cross-train into other areas.
• Availability to work in shifts as needed.
• Good physical condition to walk and stand during a shift.
• Must have access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests to the venue.
• Understand and identify all menu items.
• Answer phones, take messages, and book and manage reservations.
• Escort customers to assigned dining or bar areas when needed.
• Greet customers upon their departure.
• Maintain a clean Expo and reception area.
• Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g., children, elderly) when serving food.
• Assist service staff as needed.
• Learn a variety of support positions to aid service staff.
• Any other relevant duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
