Job summary

TPAC is seeking a Guest Services Intern to support the Guest Services department in delivering welcoming experiences for patrons, artists, and visitors in Nashville. The role involves hands-on exposure to event operations, workforce coordination, volunteer engagement, and customer service throughout the semester.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or front-of-house settings is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in teams and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist Guest Services staff with preparations for performances, events, and activities.
• Learn usher assignments, volunteer placements, venue procedures, and event-specific needs.
• Assist with event materials, staffing information, checklists, and resources for Guest Services team.
• Observe guest service operations and respond to patron questions, accessibility needs, and service concerns.
• Help identify opportunities to improve patron experience and consistency of service.
