The Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC) is seeking an Arts Education Administration Intern to support its Education and Community Engagement team in Nashville. This semester-long, part-time internship focuses on coordinating educational programs, school partnerships, and event logistics within TPAC's mission to make the performing arts accessible to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

Candidates should have applicable knowledge and experience in arts education administration.
Rising juniors, rising seniors, or graduate students are encouraged to apply.
Must be able to work nights and weekends.
Ability to carry and lift up to 25 pounds.
Office environment with ability to stand or walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Assist Education and Community Engagement staff with coordination and delivery of administrative tasks, events, performances, workshops, and related school programs.
Support event preparation and management for internal and external programs; provide customer service to teachers and school contacts.
Coordinate on-site logistics, including check-in, classroom setups, supplies, signage, and dismissal procedures.
Assist with school orientations, teacher professional development workshops, and teaching artist sessions.
Maintain confidentiality regarding program information and assist with data collection, invoicing, surveys, and reporting.
