Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank is seeking a Guest Experience Coordinator for Wayne County. The role centers on welcoming volunteers and visitors, directing them appropriately, and maintaining a professional front desk to create a positive first impression.
You will assist with volunteer sign-in/out, answer calls, manage mail and data entry, and coordinate meetings. The position requires strong communication and teamwork, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional weekends.

The Guest Experience Coordinator will serve as the leader of first impressions and plays a vital role in shaping how volunteers, guests, and community partners experience the Foodbank from their very first interaction. Primary responsibilities will include welcoming and directing volunteers and visitors to their appropriate locations; assisting volunteers to sign in and out; answering incoming calls and directing to the appropriate department; opening and distributing mail while routing gifts for processing to the appropriate staff at the Main Campus in Akron; ensuring the front desk is professional and well maintained to provide a welcoming experience for all guests and employees. A high degree of professionalism, courtesy, communication skills, punctuality, and dependability are essential for success in this position.
Shift: M-F, 8am-4pm. Salary range: $18-$22 per hour based on experience.
Schedule is primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm but will occasionally require scheduled time on weekends and/or evenings. Collaboration with other departments and a high degree of confidentiality, commitment, availability, flexibility, and dependability is essential for success in this position.
Works primarily at the Wayne Campus; floats to the Stark and Main campuses when warranted.
