Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to perform receiving, storage, sorting, repacking, and distribution of donated foods. The role includes volunteer coordination, market management, and ensuring safety and accuracy in operations.
The position requires a High School Diploma, 3+ years warehouse experience, and a strong service mindset. It offers a morning weekday shift with benefits and opportunities to grow within a mission-driven organization.

The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of manual tasks associated with the receiving, storage, sorting, inspecting, repacking and distribution of food and other donated products including unloading deliveries, repacking food products, operating warehouse equipment, loading agency vehicles, maintaining the marketplace, volunteer coordination, and general maintenance and cleanup. Must be flexible in working in both areas of the warehouse dock and the volunteer center, based on workload demand. Hourly Rate $18 per hour. Shift M-F, 6am-2pm.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop; kneel, crouch, and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust and focus.
