Job summary

Jay Peak is seeking a friendly Guest Services Associate to assist day guests and lodging guests with admissions, reservations, and season passes. You will explain RFID technology, guide guests to services, and process payments at a fast-paced winter resort.

Strong customer service, cash handling, and basic computer skills are essential. Experience with POS systems and Outlook/Excel is preferred; weekends and holidays are common.

Qualifications

• Prior guest service experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous cashhandling experience preferred.
• Must have exceptional interpersonal and customer communication skills and friendly attitude.
• Must have basic computer skills; experience with a Point-of-Sale system preferred; Outlook/Excel/MS software experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Meets and greets customers and explains programs and rates for day guest and lodging admissions, reservations, and season passes.
• Processes and issues tickets or passes, upsells when possible, and handles payments.
• Provides general information about goods and services on and off property; guides guests to events and locations.
• Explain RFID technology and season pass types; assist with purchasing and photo ID capture.
