Job summary

Jay Peak is seeking a friendly seasonal server to take orders and serve meals in our dining rooms. You will greet guests, know the menu, and contribute to an exceptional guest experience at a popular Vermont resort.

Responsibilities include handling orders via POS, assisting with seating, and ensuring proper table maintenance while adhering to safety and allergy policies. Requires availability to work nights, weekends, holidays in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Ability to read safety rules, write routine reports and communicate with customers.
• Strong customer service attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Takes food and drink orders and enters them into the POS system.
• Engages with guests in a friendly manner and ensures excellent service.
• Knows beer, wine, and menu items; suggests daily specials.
• Follows allergy policies and ensures guests enjoy their meals.
• Handles payments and prepares checks accurately.
• Maintains dining area and resets tables for next guests.
