Job summary

Panera Bread is seeking a Restaurant Team Member to be the heart of hospitality, delivering warmth, care, and joy in every guest interaction. You will help assemble fresh sandwiches and salads, greet guests warmly, and keep the bakery-cafe clean and inviting while supporting teammates across shifts.

You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing accurate service, and strong communication. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is important to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16+ and able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Able to stand for extended periods and move about the restaurant.
• Clear communication with guests, managers, and teammates in a loud environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude.
• Food Handler’s Card required by law; food service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest with warmth and enthusiasm.
• Assist with assembling salads, soups, and sandwiches when needed.
• Move around the bakery-cafe to assist guests at entry, cashier, and dining areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, inviting environment by following food safety standards.
• Support team success by completing cleaning, stocking duties, and helping set up the next shift.
• Deliver excellent service in every circumstance.
