Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous cashier/host experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Basic math skills required.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses/certifications.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort guests to their table.
• Provide menus to guests and inform them of specials.
• Circulate through the restaurant to coordinate service for fast, courteous dining.
• Assign bus person and server breaks.
• Inspect and monitor cleanliness of the room and safety/health compliance.
• Resolve customer complaints or refer to the restaurant manager.
• Maintain records of guests served, absences, or equipment issues.
• Operate the cash register to itemize and process guest checks.
• Maintain an accurate cash bank at all times.
