Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Cashier experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Standing, walking, lifting up to 25 lbs and climbing.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, helpful customer service and represent Westlake Ace Hardware positively.
• Greet customers as they enter and throughout their visit.
• Thank customers by name when possible on departure.
• Maintain a friendly, outgoing demeanor with customers and associates.
• Process transactions accurately and keep checkout lines moving efficiently.
• Answer calls and pages promptly and courteously.
• Report problems to management as needed.
• Build product knowledge and assist with locating items in-store.
• Assist with pricing, stocking, marking and bagging merchandise.
